Polvorones

Ingredients:

  • ¼ of “Inca” butter
  • 2 yolks
  • ¼ kg sugar
  • ½ kg of flour

Process:

1.The butter is beaten until it is at a point of accremarla. Incorporating the sugar, the yolks one by one. The vanilla is incorporated with the sifted flour. Once we have the pasta we start making small balls, until creating the shape of polvorón.

2. Bake at 180.C for 15-20 minutes

3.Once the balls have been placed on our tray, just out of the oven, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Story: Polvorones were his favorite dessert since that time when the polvorón vendor gave him one every afternoon he went for a walk in the garden. One day he went from being just the seller to his admirer.I always remembered when I played with him to be great cooks, they dreamed of having a nice pastry shop in Times Square. They could never make their dream come true, their attraction crumbled like a polvorón crumbles …
